I’m still alive!
Last night the Schwob school of music had their annual Kaleidoscope concert.
Basically, all 250 Student Perform within 70 minutes.
So, there is no applause until the end and each act happens in a different place on the stage, so when the light fade off one performer the light appear somewhere else on the next performer.
Is it pretty cool and allows the audience to see the whole music school in one concert
The choir performed a piece called At the Round Earth’s Imagined Corners by William Spencer
It really was a great selection because it shows off the choirs ability to project both very soft and then has a very powerful forte ending.
We had to wait a while backstage…
But, it was alright 🙂
This morning I woke up early to attend Smith Station Baptist Church
(of course we stopped at Starbucks on the way)
I sang How beautiful are the feet by Handel from Messiah and The lords prayer along with my friend Liliya playing the piano.
The church welcomed us and of course my favorite American dad was there
Tonight is the run through for tomorrow’s guitar voice recital
…I’m laying out :]
